Publisher: Image Comics

Scott Snyder and Scott Tuft have brought us a tale of  Jack Garron, a twelve-year-old runaway on a cross-country search for his birth father. On this journey, Jack soon learns that there is a such thing as pure evil when he encounters the terrifying Salesman.

Severed is a page turner. Snyder and Tuft did an amazing job keeping you at the edge of your seat. Page by page you keep diving into the story of Jack and you want more and more. There was a great deal of suspense and angst that you would expect from any book in the horror genre.

Futaki’s art work make this book just that much more memorable. Panel by panel you are engulfed with so much detail and emotion which adds so much to Snyder and Tuft’s well crafted tale of evil.

Severed is a great read and I would recommend it to everyone, especially horror fans.

**Note**

NYC area: Friday, April 27th at Midtown Comics Downtown, Scott Tuft will be at the monthly Midtown Comics Book Club meet up discussing Severed!
